William Bryant Cash, 76, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Chatham County, the son of the late Otho and Alma Wilson Cash. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and retired from the State of North Carolina.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, December 19, 2014 at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.

Surviving are his wife of fifty five years, Linda Weaver Cash of the home, a son, Dale Bryant Cash (Wynona) of Stem, two brothers, Windle Cash and Alvis Cash, both of Butner and one grandson, Brandon Cash of Stem. He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Taylor.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27704

Visitation will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 from 12:00 -1:30 PM prior to the graveside service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.

There is not a day that goes by I don’t think of you. You were my best friend one that you don’t find that often. The days we spent riding around in that old truck will never be forgotten. I miss you so much.

I have thought about you all day. I will never forget the times we had. Wish I could of took the day off and we could of rode around all day. I know I will see you again one day and it will be amazing . Thanks for being way more than a friend and thanks for teaching me how to Live. You lived life to the fullest and I miss you more than you will ever know.....

Happy Birthday Ole Boy. I know if you were still here with us i would of took today off and rode around with you all day. I sure do miss those days and the lessons you taught me about life and how to live it to the fullest. I will ALWAYS remember the times we spent together and the backroads we traveled while we enjoyed eachother company. You were the best and i miss you every day.......

I have lost my best friend without a doubt. He was such an inspiration to me that will leave a place in my heart that will never be filled. All the good times we had I will remember forever.
